Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel according to site policies and emergencies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, yards, parking lots, and access points to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs of arrivals, deliveries, and incidents.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, notifying site contacts and responders as directed.
• Observe and report hazards, property damage, suspicious activity, and policy violations per procedures.

Pay Rate: $17.98 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facility interiors, loading areas, trailer yards, parking lots, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs of arrivals, departures, deliveries, and unusual occurrences.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Observe and report potential hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
