Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer experienced in front desk reception at an automotive rental location in Mount Laurel, NJ. You will provide a welcoming, professional presence, manage access, and deliver exceptional customer service while following security procedures.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and employees at the front desk of an automotive rental location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor credentials as required, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests to appropriate personnel or areas.
• Observe front desk activity and report suspicious behavior, unauthorized access attempts, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of visitors, incidents, deliveries, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
