Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Guest Services Security Officer in Mechanicsburg, PA. You will greet visitors, manage access, monitor lobby activity, and respond to security incidents, while delivering outstanding customer service in a welcoming, collaborative environment.

The role includes scheduling flexibility via our shift-claim platform and a focus on safety and integrity for clients across Commercial Real Estate settings.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify appointments and identification as required, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests to appropriate offices or building areas.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, and security-related systems, reporting unusual activity, access concerns, or facility issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established response protocols.
• Maintain accurate visitor, access, and incident records while providing professional communication and support to building occupants and authorized personnel.

• Thur: 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
