Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer — Lobby Credential Coordinator in Burlington, NJ. You will welcome visitors, manage access and badges, monitor entry, and support X-ray screening procedures as needed.

You will provide outstanding customer service, work with team members, and help maintain a secure, professional environment while building a flexible schedule through our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background checks and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, members, vendors, and employees by following site-specific procedures and emergency activities.
• Serve as a professional front-desk presence by greeting visitors and managing access per site procedures.
• Monitor entry activity and maintain visitor records, reporting unusual activity to leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site protocols.
• Assist with communications, including answering phones and receiving deliveries.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, members, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a retail wholesale location.
• Serve as a professional front-desk presence by greeting visitors, managing access in accordance with site procedures, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry activity, maintain required visitor records, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Assist with communications, including answering phones, receiving deliveries, and providing general information while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
