• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and contact appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain activity logs and shift communications.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Glen Allen, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security‑related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
