Allied Universal in Gwynn Oak, MD is seeking a part-time Security Officer Evening Mobile Patrol Driver. You will serve and safeguard clients in Retail/Malls and other sites, building a schedule that fits your life while supporting a welcoming, safe environment.

This position requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent; you will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and report with professionalism and care.

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, parking lots, entrances and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior, hazards and policy violations.
• Prepare clear activity, incident and patrol reports with a professional presence.

You will interact professionally with shoppers, tenants, and visitors, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Tue 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports while maintaining a professional presence and assisting with customer inquiries.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
