As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Report maintenance hazards, property damage, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
