Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer - Mobile Driver in Elkton, MD. You will provide customer service, perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents at healthcare facilities and other sites. A valid driver’s license is required, with shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, helping to maintain an orderly healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Complete detailed reports, maintain accurate logs, and communicate observations or concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
