Responsibilities

• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, deliveries, and personal property per site access-control procedures.
• Operate screening equipment and inspect items, report prohibited items and concerns to leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow escalation/communication procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of screening areas and entry points to deter unauthorized access.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Screening in Fall River, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening visitors and personnel, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service while supporting a welcoming experience, using teamwork and integrity to help deter incidents. Pay Rate: $20.44 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, deliveries, and personal property in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures and applicable screening protocols.
• Operate screening equipment and inspect authorized items as directed, reporting prohibited items, access concerns, and unusual activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
