As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Screening in New Stanton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help support access control by screening personnel and visitors, verifying badges, monitoring alarms, and reporting security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with access-control procedures; verify credentials and direct authorized individuals appropriately.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct entry-point checks as required, escalating prohibited items, access concerns, or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry areas, business spaces, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
