Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Entry Authorization Driver in Nederland, TX. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and support security operations at a chemical/petrochemical location, with a valid driver’s license required.

This full-time role involves early morning shifts and a focus on customer service, safety, and compliance with site procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the chemical and petrochemical location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor entry and exit, and directing authorized personnel and deliveries.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, assigned areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, reports, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency personnel.

As a Security Officer Entry Authorization Driver in Nederland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support security-related operations with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Pay Rate: $16.53 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Tue: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Sat: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Sun: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
