Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Threat Assessment in Houston, TX. This role provides reliable, fixed hours at an assigned site with the option to earn more by taking additional shifts.

Pay rate is $15.16 per hour. Responsibilities include customer service, security procedures, incident response, patrolling, monitoring access, and documenting incidents.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe vehicle, employee, visitor, and delivery activity for unusual conditions or unauthorized access.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and observations accurately and promptly, and report concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Threat Assessment in Houston, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Daytime Sunday 08:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
