Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Level Three in Houston, TX. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with option to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform, enabling earnings growth while maintaining a stable base schedule.

Paid at $18.84 per hour, the position requires Level III Armed Certification in Texas, two years of related experience, and eligibility for required background checks and drug screening.

Responsabilités

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Level Three in Houston, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.84 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Maintain required reports and documentation and carry assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, site requirements, and applicable laws.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
