Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced, Part Time, in Houston, TX. The role offers flexible hours with fixed shifts and opportunities to earn more by picking up extra shifts through the scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $14.50 per hour. Daily duties include customer service, access control, patrols, incident reporting, and safety compliance at an industrial site. A six‑month commitment is required for anchor shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: a valid driver’s license in the job state; 18+ for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles); high school diploma or equivalent; background check as required by law; drug screening; state/local licensing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while executing site security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to identify and report hazards.
• Monitor access, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain entry/incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and per site procedures; contact appropriate personnel.
• Observe and report hazards, equipment concerns, property damage, and policy violations to site management.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver Route Inspection in Houston, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required entry and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, property damage, and policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
