Allied Universal is seeking a part-time unarmed Security Officer Enhanced in Center City, Philadelphia, PA. The role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up extra shifts for increased earnings.

You’ll patrol a medical facility on foot and by vehicle while providing customer service to campus community members. Pay rate is $19.06 per hour, with a schedule including Thursday 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

As an Unarmed Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Center City, Philadelphia, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. This position will involve patrolling a medical facility on foot and in a vehicle.

Pay Rate: $19.06 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus community members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence halls, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with access control procedures, visitor directions, and the reporting of unauthorized entry concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post. A valid driver's license will be required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
