Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Vehicle Patrol Driver in Atlanta, GA. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts at a designated site with opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to earn more while gaining hands-on experience in the security industry.

As part of a flexible schedule, you’ll provide customer service to tenants and visitors, conduct patrols, respond to incidents, monitor access points, and maintain reports.

Qualifications

• Have at least 5 years of security‑related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients while carrying out site‑specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security‑related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control procedures, and maintain accurate incident and daily activity reports.
• Help maintain a professional presence at the location and communicate observations, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual activity to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Vehicle Patrol Driver in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon12:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 5 years of security‑related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
