Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Minimum 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Armed roles require at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as condition of employment.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by following security procedures and policies.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations calmly and in accordance with procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized access per site procedures.
• Complete and file activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized access in accordance with site-specific procedures, maintaining awareness of activity involving employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess customer service experience, preferred.
• Possess CPR and First Aid certification, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
