Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet; preferred.
• CPR certification; preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification; preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law; drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain awareness of activity throughout the location.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and security-related information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As a Security Guard Armed Enhanced Part Time Site Patrol in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate:

$24.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet; preferred.
• Possess CPR certification; preferred.
• Possess CPR/First Aid certification; preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
