Job summary

Allied Universal in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Compliance to provide reliable security, assist employees and visitors, and maintain a safe environment at a technology-focused location.

This role offers fixed shifts with anchor shifts for six months, plus optional extra shifts through our scheduling platform to earn more. Pay rate is $40.95 per hour. Must have at least 1 year security experience and a high school diploma, be 18+ years old.

Qualifications

• One year of security-related experience (minimum).
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Guard card or license preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures, including credential verification and directing guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicating with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Compliance in San Francisco, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $40.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site requirements, including verifying credentials and directing guests to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
