Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Response in San Francisco, CA. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings while maintaining a part‑time schedule.

Qualifications

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.

• Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a government financial regulatory location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and building perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit operations.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Response in San Francisco, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $34.32 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a government financial regulatory location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security‑related concerns.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit operations.


• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel, and maintain a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.


• Possess at least one year of law enforcement experience, at least two years of security‑related supervisor or manager experience, or at least three years of security‑related experience.


• Possess an armed guard card or license.


• Handcuffing certification is preferred.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
