Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Service Response to provide reliable, customer-focused security at an assigned site with flexible hours. This role offers a fixed anchor shift plus opportunities to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, with a pay rate of $19.19 per hour and potential to work up to 40 hours weekly.

• Experience using alarm panels preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols across retail, dining, entertainment, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points, pedestrian areas, and vehicle traffic; assist guests as appropriate.
• Document incidents, observations, and policy violations; communicate to site management.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Service Response in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.19 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and/or guests by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail, dining, entertainment, common‑area, parking, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, pedestrian areas, and vehicle traffic; provide directions and assist guests as appropriate.
• Document incidents, observations, and policy violations accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience using alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
