Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a front desk location within a financial institution setting while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying identification and appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals in accordance with established site procedures.
• Monitor entry activity, access control systems, alarms, cameras, and other security-related equipment; report unusual activity or equipment concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures as assigned.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Screening in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.64 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
