Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Vehicle Patrol in Atlanta, GA to provide dependable, flexible hours at an assigned site. The role offers part-time shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts for higher earnings, and the pay rate is $18.92 per hour.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• A valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document and report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor entry as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
• Maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders when needed.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Vehicle Patrol in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat12:00 PM - 08:00 PMSun12:00 PM - 08:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
