Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Atlanta, GA. Pay rate is $18.54 per hour, with a fixed anchor shift and the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

This role offers part-time hours with potential to scale to a full-time schedule up to 40 hours per week, while maintaining flexibility. Background checks and a drug screen are required, with licensing as applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of security-related experience.
• Age at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the store areas and surroundings.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally while maintaining guest safety.
• Support loss prevention and communicate observations to store leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Incident Documentation in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri04:00 PM - 08:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a luxury retail location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of sales floors, entrances, fitting areas, back-of-house spaces, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious conditions, policy concerns, and incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while maintaining a welcoming environment for guests and staff.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence, documenting observations, and communicating with store leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
