Pay rate is $18.75 per hour with a six-month site commitment. The position supports a manufacturing/industrial location, and involves front desk duties, access control, and incident response.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Arrests/convictions considered consistent with law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a manufacturing/industrial site.
• Greet visitors, verify ID, issue credentials, and maintain records.
• Monitor facility access and deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies per site procedures.
• Answer phones, give directions, receive deliveries, and report security concerns to leadership.

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front desk policies in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records.
• Monitor access to the facility through established entry procedures, communicate with appropriate site contacts, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Answer phones, provide directions and information, receive deliveries, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
