Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management to maintain orderly entry and exit per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations per established protocols.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports and share information with Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Patrol in Fairless Hills, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.56 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License: Candidates must possess a valid driver's license that complies with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This includes:
  • A current and valid driver's license issued by the appropriate authority.
  • No significant traffic violations or suspensions that would affect the candidate's ability to drive safely and legally.
  • The ability to provide a copy of the driver's license upon request during the hiring process.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site‑specific procedures, helping to maintain orderly entry and exit activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to established protocols.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant security‑related information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
