Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while enforcing site security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking lots, and entry points to identify and report unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following emergency response processes.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate findings to site contacts and leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.56 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License: Candidates must possess a valid driver's license that complies with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This includes:
  • A current and unexpired license.
  • No significant driving offenses that would disqualify the candidate from driving for work purposes.
  • Compliance with any additional state or territory regulations regarding driving.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and reporting requirements.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
