Allied Universal in Florida is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Access Point in Loxahatchee, FL. This flexible role provides reliable hours at a designated site with the ability to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will protect residents, visitors, and vendors, enforce access procedures, monitor entry points, and respond to incidents calmly. A high school diploma and background check are required; security or access-control experience is preferred.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Access Point in Loxahatchee, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat10:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun10:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vendor logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and access-related activities accurately and professionally in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
