• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation will be conducted.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vendor records, and communicate entry requirements professionally.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community grounds and common areas to deter unauthorised activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents and communicate information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Authorization in Loxahatchee, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vendor records, and communicate entry requirements in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activity according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community grounds, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, access activity, and unusual observations, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
