Allied Universal in Loxahatchee, FL is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Entry Access to provide access-control and customer service at a residential site.

This part-time role offers fixed anchor shifts with optional extra shifts via our scheduling platform, enabling higher earnings and experience across sites.

Pay is $19.57 per hour. A guard card or license is required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent; 18+ for unarmed roles.

• Conduct regular patrols of community grounds and common areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare clear incident reports and communicate information to site management.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Entry Accessin Loxahatchee, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vendor records, and communicate entry requirements in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activity according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community grounds, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, access activity, and unusual observations, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
