Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Field Operations in Miami, FL. This role offers flexible, anchor shifts on a part-time basis with potential to pick up additional shifts and increase earnings.

Pay rate is $22.85 per hour. The position requires armed capability, a guard card/license, and a commitment to safety, customer service, and reliable on-site coverage.

Formación

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check as per laws.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to transit riders, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at government transportation facilities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel and public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, vehicles, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations according to established procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and maintain professional communication with transit personnel and the public.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Field Operations in Miami, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
