Allied Universal in Houston, TX is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Driver Level III. You will patrol and protect assigned sites, with fixed shifts and opportunities to pick-up extra shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• Valid driver's license required in Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the grocery retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized entry, theft-related activity, and other security-related concerns.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and site-specific policies, and complete accurate incident documentation.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Driver Level III in Houston, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 3+ years' combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
