Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location, following security procedures and site policies.
• Manage access control by verifying credentials, monitoring entry/exit points, and maintaining visitor/contractor records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to procedures.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, and communication equipment; report issues to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production areas, parking areas, and facility perimeter.

Pay Rate: $22.52 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Wed 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Manage access control by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, maintaining visitor and contractor records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, and communication equipment; report unusual activity, damaged equipment, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
