Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Florence, KY. This role offers fixed hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $20.60 per hour. The schedule includes Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM with a six‑month anchor shift commitment and opportunities to advance to a full schedule by taking additional shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Florence, KY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, data center areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, and report access concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and incoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
