Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Route Patrol in Louisville, KY. This position offers a flexible schedule with fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $19.45 per hour with a pathway to scale your schedule from part-time toward a full-time schedule up to 40 hours per week, based on business needs and your availability.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen in accordance with laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications per site requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Route Patrol in Louisville, KY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat12:00 PM - 05:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned locations, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
