Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and clients by following site policies and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and document actions.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and assist occupants and guests as directed.
• Communicate incidents and maintenance concerns with property management and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Operations in Elizabethtown, KY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and provide directions or assistance to occupants and guests.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and security‑related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
