Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while following site policies and procedures.

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the distribution location including warehouses and yards.
• Monitor access points and deter unauthorized entry per site requirements.
• Observe hazards and report policy violations to site leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Night Patrolin Florence, KY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with site‑specific requirements, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Observe and report potential hazards, damaged property, unusual activity, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
