Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time in Aiken, SC. This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, enabling higher earnings.

The pay rate is $16.00 per hour with a schedule that includes Day Time and overnight shifts. The position supports security at a healthcare facility; responsibilities include access control, incident response, patrols, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of law enforcement experience OR 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years of security experience.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and report to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and report hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to maintain an orderly environment.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Timein Aiken, SC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

DayTimeSat07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following facility protocols and communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, while reporting unusual conditions or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to maintain an orderly healthcare environment.
• Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must have 1+ years of law enforcement experience OR 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years of security experience.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
