Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.40 - $21.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus community members by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, walkways, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while communicating professionally with campus stakeholders and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
