Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following campus protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, academic spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, building access procedures, and reporting of maintenance, lighting, or other campus concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors and authorized campus representatives.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
