Job summary

Allied Universal in Walnut, CA is seeking a Security Officer Driving Operations (Part-Time) to protect clients at commercial real estate sites and beyond. You will perform unarmed driving patrols, assist tenants and visitors, monitor access points, and respond calmly to incidents while upholding our values of agility, reliability, teamwork and integrity.

• Valid driver’s license required by policy.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and with proper reporting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of property, parking, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe activities, reporting unusual conditions.
• Prepare clear incident reports and communicate findings to site management and leadership.

As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. Using communication and basic technology skills, you will support a welcoming environment while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

• Mon 06:00 PM - 02:30 AM
• Tue 06:00 PM - 02:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity documentation, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
