Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by executing access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for access, and maintain visitor/vendor/vehicle records.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns in a calm, professional manner, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of residential areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally and report observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Entrance Operations Driver in Cross Junction, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide welcoming customer service to residents and visitors. You will help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, clear communication, and accurate reporting. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.72 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for access, and maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with residents and visitors while reporting security-related observations, access issues, and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
