Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Officer Driver Patrol in Naperville, IL to safeguard clients across tech/media/telecom sites and more. You will patrol, deter incidents with a strong customer-service focus, and uphold site policies while driving per policy requirements.

The role requires at least 1 year of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and compliance with background and drug-screen checks.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of security-related experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors per site policies and emergencies.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and access issues and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas to deter issues.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and keep logs/reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and leadership about incidents and shift activities.
