Job summary

Allied Universal in Lockport, IL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Facility Protection to monitor and protect clients across tech/media/telecom sites. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service.

You will communicate with employees and leadership, log incidents, and follow site procedures. Minimum requirements include 18+ (21+ for armed), HS diploma, background check, drug screen, and a valid driver’s license for driving roles.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
Background-checked and drug screened as a condition of employment.
Licensing requirements may apply; valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and vendors.
Respond to incidents, alarms and access-control concerns following site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
Communicate observations and incidents to leadership.
