Job summary

Allied Universal in Naperville, IL is looking for a Security Officer – Driver Credential Verification. This full‑time role combines customer service with patrol duties at hotels and resorts, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and maintaining a visible, professional security presence.

A valid driver’s license and at least two years of security experience are required, with a high school diploma. CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation required by law.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and location-specific policies.
Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hotel and resort facilities and parking areas.
Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
Document incidents and patrols in accordance with procedures.
