Responsibilities

• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and concerns, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency services as required.
• Monitor entry points and site activity, reporting security concerns or policy violations per procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports for management and leadership.

As an unarmed Security Professional at a retail shopping center, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to shoppers and tenants. Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Fri: 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the shopping center, including common areas, storefront exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points, observe activity at the location, and report security‑related concerns, maintenance issues, or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicating relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
