Job Description

As a Security Guard - Full Time - Patrol Driver in North Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and use technology to document activities. Pay Rate: $19.80 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a healthcare-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, laboratories, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and security-related observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
