Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and deliveries by enforcing security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct vehicle and foot patrols in the production location to deter incidents and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials, documenting entrants, and directing authorized personnel per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and document reports.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged equipment, or policy violations to site leadership.

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Sioux Falls, SD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. You will represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative values while working collaboratively, putting people first, and acting with integrity. A valid driver’s license is required.

Pay Rate: $19.96 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, damaged doors or gates, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
