Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Driving Role in Sioux Falls, SD. You will provide customer service while patrolling, deter security incidents, and support a safe environment for employees and visitors at a food and beverage location.

The position is full-time, pays $19.96 per hour, and requires a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and successful background checks.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Driving Role in Sioux Falls, SD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service and communication while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and vehicle activity in accordance with site policies; report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
