Allied Universal in Streator, IL seeks a Security Officer Patrol Driving Role to provide security and customer service at a manufacturing location. You will conduct patrols, deter incidents, and maintain access control with a strong emphasis on safety and professionalism.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driving Role in Streator, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Document observations, patrol activities, and incidents accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
